Thanks, Jean....I remember that you had had some sort of injections, but I couldn't remember exactly what. To answer your question, they wanted to do it through my back to help with(and I think I'm saying this right), sympathetic pain signals from the viscera...he expained that in theory, someone who developed pancreatitis would not feel the pain from it. I have decided it's not for me though...the adhesion pain I am having is(I'm almost positive) from what's connected to the abdominal wall...he said the nerve blocks would not help with this type of pain.

Janet, I don't remember if I told you that I also had 3 epidural nerve blocks in my spine and I got no relief of my hip or abdominal problems at all. I wasn't sure with your previous post if you meant they wanted to give them your back or belly and I never had them in my belly. JEAN
