Hi Cathy, I haven't been here for a while, but come over once and a while to read the posts.I go to the IOA board too, you get a lot of ostomy information there, it's really helped me. I don't post often but do read the post about every day.You wrote you had a reversal, are you doing better? I had colon resection in 97 because of diverticulitis they took 18in of colon, then in June 29, 2000. I had colostomy due to dense adhesions that were wrapped around my bowels, lost another 2 ft. of colon, thought it was suppose to be temperary, but I've had 2 Drs. advise me against it, so unless something happens that puts me in for another surgery, looks like I will stay this way. I feel really good though, I can remember the pain quite well trying to go to the bathroom. Anyway Hope you stay well, God Bless, JudyH
