Chrissy, I'm not Robin but I want to put my own two cents in. In my state, they have regular foster care, and treatment foster care. The regular foster care is for kids that haven't been through a lot. abuse etc... The treatment foster care is children with major issues. As you know, where I work, we see these kids. With your medical condition, I would not take in treatment foster care. You have to run the kids to all sorts of appts. continually and they have a lot of major behavior problems. Emergency could be if they have to remove a child from the home immediately and they will call you then. (I think) It could be for a few days or longer. Kel
