unfortunately you might be 'stuck' with it/them! I had a right hemicolectomy in 1994 and I'm still suffering from adhesions which means that every so often I have a semi-acute bowel obstruction which results in increasingly painful spasms and vomiting. I then have to be admitted to hospital and put on a drip and nil-by-mouth until evrthing starts to pass through again. It also results in a very high white blood cell count due to the inflamation. >
