Lynda, I agree with your theory.... then don't push on the belly button (LOL)!! Itching is good....that is a sign of healing. I did have that for about a week.

Yes....I have had the hiatus hernia & ulcer many years already......just a few more things I have learned to live with! I think my head is ok (debatable) if you disregard the sinuses (LOL)!!!

I once told a surgeon just to do a total body transplant but he refused saying "he needs a trade-in, and who would want mine (TeeHee)!!!

Hi Jean --

<< It doesn't seem right to me that your belly button should still hurt this long after surgery. Are they sure nothing is wrong with the incision? >>

My belly button doesn't hurt all the time, only when I move a certain way. Then I get a temporary twinge. Also, if I were to push on it, it feels a little sore. So I just don't push on it. :)

Interesting that you didn't have healing pain...I was imagining some of the pain I had was where things inside were healing. Also, possibly, that there are some new adhesions too....which would explain why it has gotten worse instead of better over time.

I suppose all there is for me to do is wait and see -- things will either get better, or they will not. I really don't want to go through any more procedures, but if the pain gets worse it will be hard not to.

You have an ulcer too, and a hernia?? I hope they don't give you too much trouble.

Thanks for the information -- I really appreciate it. Hope you have a very good, pain free day.

Love,
