All I know is that 6 years ago I had these same symptoms (rectal and vaginal pain, as well as painful intercourse). I had the pain in my buttock and down my leg, as well as nausea. The doctor did a lap., and removed endo. from the cul-de-sac ( it didn't indicate on the surgical report implants or adhesions), and the surgical report said that he lysed a rather broad adhesion in my lower left abdomen. He also told me that he lysed an adhesion in the rectovaginal area. So, I was fine for 6 years, but now it is back in the exact same spot, and I have to have another lap.!
I know what you mean about not being able to be comfortable--laying down is not good, neither is sitting (with rectal pain), and standing can be not so hot after a while. Not many options left! LOL. Anyway, the Lortab I am taking is helping with my pain, esp. the sciatic pain, until my surgery.
E-mail me if you want.
