Sue,

I have had the exact same experience as you. I have very bad rectal pain, and it can be accompanied by vaginal pain as well. It sometimes feels like stabbing, and sometimes like cramping. Also, I have some pain going down my leg. My deal is that I have had one lap. for endometriosis, and they lasered off some stuff in the cul-de-sac (behind the uterus), which I believe had put pressure on the sciatic nerve (causing leg and back pain). The MD also told me he cut an adhesion between my vagina and my rectum that was the main source of my pain. This helped me for 6 yrs., but now it is back, and I have to have a 2nd lap. this week. I don't know if this info. helps, but that is my story. You can e-mail me if you want to talk further.
