Hi Karen,

I have had similar problems to you, 4 c-sections, 2 Laps, Hystorectomy, then ovaries (Endo found in the ovaries)out 9 weeks ago today! Diagnosed with IBS just last week.

I have had similar symptoms to these and had a colonoscopy & gastroscopy last Wednesday, which ruled out ulcers, polyps & hemmahroids. I see specialist for liver/gall bladder etc this month.

Our problem is not an easy one, and sometimes it is a case of going from one Doctor to another. I know this doesn't seem fair and causes us to be anxious. I have found it easier to get what I need by doing what the Doctors ask......and then by asking them LOTS of questions.

If you don't get the answers you need from the Gyno, then I would ask him for a referral to another GI Doctor. My GI Doctor told me last week that rectal bleeding (bright red, like a period) is usually polyps or hemmahroids. As far as the adhesions and Endo are concerned, going to a Gyno at this stage doesn't seem like a bad idea.

I would be happy to answer any other questions you may have, the best thing is to try and stay positive, and not dwell on the symptoms, as far as I can see.....THAT is one of the biggest challenge many of us face with ARD. My private email address is wallamara@hotmail.com

Love, hugs & cheers, Jo
