Dear Connie,

FYI: I had several sonagrams, 2 hida-scans and 2 surgeries, none of which gave my doctors a clue that I had a very diseased and chronically inflamed gall bladder. As soon as mine was taken out in March I was so much better....I share this with you because my symptoms were alot like yours, and for over 2 years, I was told the same as you.

Hope this helps a little...there is obviously alot more wrong than IBS!

Love,

Janet

Thanks Helen,

I went to the Gyn and they think it maybe my gallbladder, because of how I describe the nausea, they are going to send me for a songagram and then call me. The two men poke and prodded me and said I was fine that way that they could not find anything wrong from the lap.

Again they had said I had IBS or gastritis. He said he was not going to do any unnecessary surgery's. He sent me for a blood test as well. I feel so much like I am pregnant and I know I am not because I had my tubes tied and just finish my monthly cycle.

I feel so disappointed, angry and sad, I have been told he is one of the best down in Miami, Florida. Dr. S keeps telling me he only wants the best for me.(Go Figure) When I had ask him about using an adhesion barrier he told me that he only use them with the ovary, and not on the omentum. Does anyone know about that? Is not an adhesion and adhesion no matter where it is and it still causes pain? He had also told me that in six month or so if I am still feeling this DEVIL pain then, he would take a second look. Do I have to wait that long?

Ginny, to answer some of your questions from May 14. When I ask for meds, he stated there was nothing he could pres. I live in Miami, Florida and yes I am in pain mostly in the afternoon to night time the morning I OK.

Chrissy, unfortunately I did not go with that info. I guess I am going to have to go to the PCP Dr. When my husband insurance changed, the Dr no longer took it, but he was one of the ones that sent me all over anyway,(maybe this is a blessing in discuse)<G>

Thanks for letting me vent!!!!

Love Connie

Dear Connie:

Let us know how you made out with your GYN. If she is unwilling to help you, please get in touch with me to see if we can get you to a pain specialist that will help you. You cannot live in this amount of pain.

Love,

Helen Chalmers
