Hi Everyone and Happy Mother's Day. I just walked in the door about 10 minutes ago and headed for the computer. I have been in Kansas City for the weekend with my mom. We were lucky enough to get George Strait tickets and had a wonderful time. I am pretty worn out and in a considerable amount of pain from all of the walking we did but it was worth every painful step. I had been in contact with Rose prior to my trip. I knew that she was having her surgery on Friday and asked her if I could call her husband to see how she was on Saturday. Suprisingly she answered the phone! Here we all talk to one another everyday online, but to actually TALK to someone is reaaly wonderful! She said her surgery lasted 2 hours and that her doctor found four really big adhesions. When she woke up in recovery, her nurse asked her what her pain level was and she told her a 4 (on a scale of 1-10). The nurse said "But you were at an 8 before surgery." Rose indicated to her that the adhesion pain is very severe and she could tell a difference from the moment she woke up that she was better. Isn't that great!! The docotor said she could return to work on Wednesday is she felt up to it. She said that her hubby was very relieved too. She was resting in her chair with he kitty on her lap which she had not been able to do for a very long time and her kitty was purring up a storm! See, adhesions even affect our pets!! Just wanted to let everyone know our Rose is doing fine. Much Love and Prayers to all, Lisa PS-Rose can only access her computer at work so she won't be able to reply right away
