I just lost my job this morning and my e-mail address has gone with it. Please e-mail me all of your daily funnies and words of encouragement at gingin99@home.com. The Nextel address is done for. I have been taking half vacation days (legitimately requested on formal paperwork and ahead of time) here and there for the past few months to try and give myself time to rest and be able to take the pain meds while relaxing rather than running around the office. My boss felt I was becoming a liability (I've been a top performer and #1 manager for 4 yrs!) and let me go today. Now I am not only trying to deal with ARD and related concerns but am going to have to look for a new job as well. UGH!
