I had the same thing Acute Cholecysitis, yet no doctor or film ever proved that I had that, until I had my Laparscopic Surgery in March with Dr. Gerhart and Dr. Redan. I had a Hida Scan over a year ago and it never showed up there either. But yet I used to get terrible pain on my right rib side, it always felt like someone was ripping my Gall Bladder out. Now it feels as though someone is either stabbing me in my ovaries or ripping them out, now grant you, I don't have my ovaries anymore. So are they Phantom Pains? I think not after all this time. Anyway, best wishes on your Gall Bladder surgery, I am sure you will be feeling fine in no time flat.
