I don't know about any of the rest of you but I know that if I don't have a
bowel movement for more than 4 days I know there is a blockage especially if
you have tried other remedies to resolve the constipation. My suggestion is
that you visit the nearest ER ASAP as this could become life threatening. I
was yelled at because I let mine go past 3 days, I was in the ER on the 4th
day. I realise that it is scary but it would be scarier if something
ruptured due to a blockage. If you have tried enemas, laxatives and stool
softeners, then you have no choice but to go to the hospital. I hope and
pray that it is not a blockage, but having ben there, done that, I kind of
know what it sounds like and I think we all do but are scared of it. Well be
scared enough to take care of yourself however you have to. Go to the ER and
if it's not a blockage they can help you, and if it is a blockage you are in
the place you need to be.
