I just thought that I would let you know what a couple of UK Drs have
prescribed to us here in England.
I (and another UK sufferer) have been put the anti-epileptic drug
Gabapentin. Our pain Drs have told us that the pain is caused by nerve
damage and that a short course of this treatment will provide a lond
term cure.
I have been on the treatment for only 2 weeks and have felt my pain go
from 8-9/10 to 6-7/10 already. The other woman has been on it longer
and at a higher dose and has experience significant pain relief to as
low at 2/10.
I just thought that I would mention it as something worth exploring with
your Drs in the USA.
