Michelle, You certainly are in an ongoing nightmare! I have no answers for you, but have the same symtoms so I thought it would help us to keep in touch in case one of us finds something.

I too had my gall bladder removed after 11 months of going from doctor to doctor to convince someone I was sick and miserable. My gall bladder was undiseased, but entirely encased in adhesions and could not function. After the surgery, I still had pain in my right side just below the rib. I was eventually diagnosed with a small duodenal ulcer. I took two regiments of antibiotic therapy to kill the H-pylori, but it never went away. At that point the gastroenterologist didn't know what to do. I suggested it was more adhesions, but as you know, they always poo-poo that theory. One year later I had another surgery for adhesions glueing down my vagina, bladder and intestines. The pain kind of subsided, but never went away, and always went through to my back. Now, 1-1/2 years later, it is back. I was tested last week for H-pylori, but I was clean. I think there are adhesions in that area still. I'll keep you posted.

Mara
