I am so sorry that you had to go through that. I had a similar experience with a specialist in our area who spent the same amount of time with me and refused to get my test results from my PCP. I filed a complaint with my insurance company and they had their review board check into it. I was upset not only with his attitude but with the fact that he got paid over $120 for doing essentially nothing! He called my PCP about 3 months later after he decided that another test might be in order--go figure. If you have insurance I suggest you file a complaint. The person who took my complaint took all of the information from me word for word and filed a complaint. The insurance can't let you know what the result is but at least you can let the doctor know that way that this is unacceptable behavior.
