When you need to pick up a prescription and barely have time to queue in the Drs surgery, let alone repeat the scenario at your local pharmacy, the answer to your time scheduling problems may be just around the corner. After a successful five year trial in Staffordshire England, pharmacy company Duran has opened a drive-through pharmacy in Garrett’s Green, West Bromwich High Street. Now the second of its kind in Europe, the holistic healthcare centre was recently opened by GMTV’s Dr Hilary Jones. The pharmacy enables you to wait in your car while your prescription is prepared, Duran will also collect your prescription from your GP and prepare it in advance. This service can be done by most pharmacies across the UK. Duran has private interactive bays, which enable you to purchase pharmacy medicines and ask the pharmacist any questions you may have. The centre also offers a range of complimentary therapies, including homeopathy and acupuncture.
