Dear Kel, After my first surgery I didn't move around much at the insistance of my mother. After my second, I moved around a lot including much walking up and down steep hills, and four flights of stairs to my bedroom at the top of an old barn, with the encouragement of my husband who thinks that exercise is the answer to all problems. The others were a mixture, with no real extremes. It's a very good question, and I wish I knew the answer. Exercise now makes me hurt. Are you Kel or Michael? I've been trying to walk some and I still have to climb the stairs so I don't know if that is considered extreme exercise or not; sometimes, it feels more like torture. Regards, Sally
