I have that thick line under my scar too. I have asked my surgeons, and they tell me that it is quite normal. That is how our body heals.
I have been told it is nothing to worry about, sometimes my scar is a little tender to touch, but most of my pain does not radiate from that area. It is the adhesions on my bowel, ovaries & bladder that cause my pain.
If you are worried just ask your doctor. The only stupid question in my book is one that isn't asked!
