Hi Pascale,

I was really inspired by your story to fight for recognition from your insurance company. I admire you for fighting on your good days and your bad! I hope that many will now follow your example.

I too have managed to get in earlier to see specialists etc to help me. I made phone calls, asked questions and explained my situation. I was patient, polite, but I was also firm in my requests for help, I didnot give up and wait for them to return my call. I called back if I didn't hear from them in the specified time & continued to call until I got an answer.

I'm not fighting insurance companies, but public health waiting lists here in Australia. I know this doesn't always work, and some fail to get the help they need.

There is a saying rattling around in the back of my head....."If it is to be; Then it is up to me".

Best wishes Pascale for your surgery,

cheers & hugs, Jo
