Are you having surgery in May because you have intestine obstruction? I had intestine obstruction and that's why I had surgery, but doctors won't operate if there is only adhesions because the adhesions will reform again. I read adhesions reform from day one through the seventh day after surgery and it is true because I began feeling pain four weeks after surgery. I pray that this surgery will be your last one. Be positive at all times. I wish to meet these doctors that are specialist in adhesions and have that barrier or Spraygel applied to me. I'm afraid these adhesions will again "wrap" my intestines and honest to God I think I can't take a 10th surgery!!!!! I'm also constipated and popping pills like you. Isn't awful? Dear Eileen, thanks for the info. Right now I am on darvocet and lortab. It works, but I have to take 2 at a time. I feel like I am always popping pills. I have surgery in May and hopefully this will end! I am totally constipated from the pain meds too. I'll ask my Dr about Ultram tomorrow. I do not work now, I help a friend at her business sometimes, but couldn't hold a job between pain or being foggy from the meds... I plan to go back full time once I recover from surgery. I've got 2 daughters going to Catholic high school next year... tuition will be murder. I hope you are doing better KellyD
