A close friend has been suffering from abdominal adhesions for some time
now.
She is in nearly chronic pain and avoiding roughage helps a little.
There
is a little intestinal blockage at times. One doctor, a surgeon, wants
to go ahead and operate and thinks he can help her condition. He says
that there is a wway of doing the operation that will reduce the risk of
further adhesions. Another doctor vehemently opposes the operation and
thinks it will likely lead to more pain and suffering. She is uncertain
what to do. Does anyone have any
success stories of abdominal adhesions that have been helped by surgery?
Or
have an opinion on the matter? Any insight or information would be much
appreciated.
