Jean,

I have multiple sclerosis, but the pain is from osteoarthritis and osteoporosis in my back where I've had some compression fractures. This summer when the pain from adhesions was so very bad, the chair helped as well.

I use a motorized chair or would not be able to propel it with what strength is in my arms, particularly across the carpeting. I can't get into the BR with it, but can manage OK there with the help of bars in the tub and around the toilet.

I am just wondering if the hip problems might not qualify you for one through your insurance or Medicare. Even to use it in the kitchen might help.

In my office, I have a rolling office chair that I use when the office space gets crowded. It has better back support than my Quickie.

Even a well designed office chair might help you be more comfortable.

I also spend quite a bit of time in a recliner which seems the most comfortable place. I have a laptop for use there.

Love to you,

Kate
