I have not met them personally - yet. I originally contacted both doctors by email giving them a synopsis of my medical history. Dr. Redan responded to my email (within 12 hours!) and my official records were sent up to them. Dr. Redan also called my doctor (Dr. Finkler) and spoke with him. Dr. Reich contacted me by phone after reviewing my records. Dr. Reich's office then contacted me (his staff is wonderful) and we set up the surgery dates. I was sent an information packet and the scripts to have my pre-surgery testing done at my local hospital. I am only making 1 trip to PA. I will meet with Dr. Redan the day before surgery to discuss the procedure and go over any concerns we may have. I haven't heard yet about my insurance - but Dr. Finkler is contacting my insurance company and I asked Dr. Reich's office to do the same. The Clarion hotel gives a special rate of $60 per day for patients at Community Medical Center and is right next door. I lucked out with the hospital... they are in-network for my plan! Dr. Finkler will be keeping in touch while I am in PA and I will follow up with him when I return home.

I had a priceless day recently... I came home from work and on my answering machine was a "message" from my 17 month old grandson.... I still haven't erased it!!
