Right now I have stopped pain meds...they were not helping and I got disgusted putting those things in my body. I am basically taking Advil, 2-3 tabs, every 4 hours. I was on Cataflam, an antiinflamatory. Dr. also put me on Vicodin...what a joke...now I know how people get addicted. I could not function AT ALL, even when I cut it down to 1/2 and then 1/3. Also tried Neurontin, made me very sleepy. Naprosyn was also on the list for a long time, although it wasn't working. There were others, but I can't remember them. Don't want to take narcotics. Have heard Ultram works, but my insurance won't cover it. I do take a Darvocet when the pain gets unbearable, but again, I try not to take any narcotics. I am also on Serzone for depression and clonazepam. Hope you find something that works for you.
