Hi Liz, just thought i would respond to your email in regards to painful
sex. I find that it is painful during BUT more so AFTER the act so much so
that i usually end up vomiting afterwards, my gp informs me that this is due
to the nerve endings being the same ones as the ones that supposedly make IT
enjoyable, not much consolation i know, it has now got to the point where i
have to inject an anaeasthetic called Instigel UP THERE, five minutes before
the deed commences, i have to laugh as usually i end up crying because I
cant even have sex with my husband with out being a failure, my self esteem
is really low at this point. What makes me angry is that if i was a man and
i was impotent(sorry to be detremental to men) then i think that i would get
all the help and support VIAGRA from the medical establishment. but for us
poor women we are either frigid or neurotic so we cant enjoy sex.I have even
been asked do you think you need to see a sex therapist? My answer, NO i just
want to enjoy what should be a pleasure, is that so much to ask, Why cant
you see that the pain is physical Not emotional???? The trouble is I do
enjoy sex with my husband i just dont like the after effects, which can put
me in bed for days.
Sorry to be so direct but this issue is not discussed openly enough and it
is a fundamental part of any healthy relationship with our partner.
hope this helps to know your not alone by a long shot
kindest regards
jackie B England

the left side of me I would be fine, why I feel it more on one side verses
the other, but think of it in a positive way, it could be are left and right
that we feel it, (lol), I know this is not funny but we have to try to find
some humor in all this or we will be just miserable, thank- god for this
sight and all the wonderfull people that are here, God bless.
