in sept. 98 i had abdominal surgery, namely a gastric bypass. in feb.
00 i suffered excrutiating pain which resulted in another surgery for an
adhesion which knotted or kinked up the bowel causing obstruction. in
oct. 00 i had a hernia repair and then last week [1/9/01] i had pain
again which resulted in another adhesion sticking to my intestion. the
strange thing seems to be that these happen spontaneously and there is
just a single band or thread of adhesion, not the normal cobweb type. is
there anything i can do or not do, treatment, cure, preventative.....
three surgeries in 11mo. and being out of work so much is a bit much
for anyone. seeking info.
