I haven't heard of a Baker's Tube, but assume it must be some sort of device that will keep the small intestine open. I'd be very interested in hearing more about it since I've been experiencing the old signs of partial bowel obstruction the last three days -- and really need a solution that is longer lasting.

This summer my surgeon removed some badly scarred sections of small intestine in an effort to prevent obstruction. However, he can not guarantee this. Since there are so many feet of small intestine and they curl together, adhesions can form anywhere.

Keep me informed of what's happening for you.

Kate
