Well Dr. Semertzides has operated on my wife twice and we live in Wisconsin. Last one (surgery) was a vast improvement over the first. He is very kind, waits patiently for the payment(months), invited us to his home for dinner and is a younger very personable doctor. He is very flexible as Ohio law allows. He knows Dr Wiseman and I have much respect for how he treated my wife and treated me. He is as good as it gets for us unless we went to Germany. But I feel he is competent and knowledgeable. We have a video of the Lap surgery and will go back to him in the future.

What else can you want? Perfection?

Jayne, I am not sure if he is self= proclaimed or not. I found his name in the phone book, this is what it says Treatment of Abdominal Adhesions Chronic Abdominal Pain Board Certified His name is Dr. John Semertzides. I live in Southeastern Indiana and I am looking for a dr. around here i.e.; Cincinnati or Lawrenceburg. Does anyone have any ideas? One good thing has come out of my appointment with him so far though. He requested copies of all my operative reports, I found that on all of my surgeries, the doctor said I had extensive adhesions, all through my stomach, including and in the gallbladder area( I had surgery about 5 years ago to remove my gallbladder, the dr. cut an artery and sent me home, I went into shock, had to be rushed into surgery again that evening),I also found out that on my first lap, my dr. found a 2mm cyst on my right ovary, he did a hyst 4 weeks later ,but left both ovaries( including cyst), 6 weeks later, I was back in surgery to remove the cyst and right ovary. I wonder why he didn't take the cyst out when he did the hyst? If anyone can help me find out about this doctor or find another doctor, I would be thrilled. Thanks again, Joy
