Dear Stacey, You are right! That the "bloody cyst" there in your abdomen around the bladder area can be a source of further adhesions. There is not suppose to be any blood in the abdominal cavity. The body treats this as a foreign object and sends white blood cells there to encapsulated it and attack, it thus a cyst is formed. If the cyst stays encapsulated there is a chance that the body could reabsorb the blood before there is scar tissue formation. Sometimes it will in some people.However in adhesion formers this is very unlikely. The area will cause a inflammatory process thus leading us to adhesions. Please pursue your path to Dr. Redan and if nothing else take his recommendations to heart. Keep yourself armed with the information here on the site and stand your ground with your doctors.
