Regarding the "anti-seizure" medication, I would assume he/she is refering to Neurontin, I am currently taking it and it has helped me, in the area of pain. According to my Internest in Atlanta it has been tested for "Nerve Pain" for about two years with some good results. My Internist is VERY good and is not a disbeliever but I have found he said some drugs in conjunction with this can also help such as Paxil, I am not clinically depressed but as he explained, chronic pain is hard on anyone and he is trying for Quality of Life at this point. I am warning you there are some side effects and you can't look for immediate gratification but it has been the best thing I have tried so far so if it is the drug of choice for me maybe it can help you. If I can answer any questions for you please feel free to email me. I have been a practical nurse for years but I think I should of been a pharmacist!! Good luck. Ann
