Pain is not NORMAL !!!

Hey Janet ;-))

I'm glad my story helped in some way. I haven't tried the Zortix. I'm sure the names are totally different in different countries though. I haven't tried anything else for the bowel pain as both my surgeries were emergencies. With all my other surgeries I was just careful not to take too much Codeine, I took alot of morphene, pethedene all of that. I do remember the all those invasive tests showing absolutely nothing until they went in. Including the colonoscopies, the barium enema's the fifty odd bowel prep's I had to take, even though they knew I had an obstruction. The pain is excruitiating and I understand where you are. But you do need to get help and fast. Everyone knows, even without a medical mind, that the pain is not normal. My wonderful doctors have told me that I know my body better than anyone, and I don't stop until I get answers and satisfaction. The pain is always caused from something ! Remember that. Make them listen.

In the meantime I can only suggest that you keep strong by talking about it. (It helps to vent). Know that it is YOUR body and you have a right to find out why you feel pain. I know that you cannot eat much, but keep trying because even though you vomit, some of the nutrients are left in your body. Try some anti vomiting medicine? I always get angry because it keeps me from crying when I see the specialists, and pushes me to make them give me answers.

Take care babe Trace xo
