Helen, The doctors where I live also don't want to acknowledge adhesion problems or want to operate. I have had several operations for this but took 6 months debiliating pain and going from doctor to doctor, test upon test, and one town to another before I would get help. After proving them wrong you would think I could just go to the same doctor again however I go through the same game again!

Did your operation get rid of your problems and if it did how long has it been? Are there any adhesion specialists that you know of in Pennsylvania?
