What a wonderful group we have

I got a book and tape on the advice of my doctor on positive imagery for
my upcoming surgery. I was reading the book tonight and the 4th chapter
said how important it was to find a support group. Well, I sat there
and thought to myself, I already have a support group and it is
wonderful to have so many caring friends who I have never met in person
who understand everything I am going through. I feel very lucky to be
able to read the forum everyday and post questions and concerns. You
are all a very special group of people. Thank you very much for being
there. I know the Germany group appreciates all of the prayers and good
wishes.
The book also had a neat suggestion. It said to ask friends to think of
you about 1/2 hour before your surgery and it will give you a feeling of
inner peace. People actually said that it had a calming effect on them
prior to surgery. Thanks for listening. Not able to sleep tonight and
felt like chatting.
