I had my appointment today with the surgeon. He reckons that the pain
etc I have been experiencing is been due to partial bowel obstructions -
due to the adhesions (reckons the history/symptoms are 'textbook'). In
his opinion he doesn't think three episodes is sufficient to try to
reduce the adhesions. He thinks if I have more (say half a dozen or so)
then they will consider surgery but 'til then to wait and see. He did
say that I shouldn't leave it 24 hours before calling a doctor next time
though... I'm actually quite pleased with his commments because I was
extremely wary of undergoing further surgery as I certainly don't want
to make matters worse and wanted to wait and see!
