I ahve been taking these stupid laxatives for 2 and a half years now, and if I do not I will not go, I waited over a week a couple of times, and that is when I woke up and the pressure was intense to go, it doubled me over, the stool was there and I tried for 2 hours to go, and I hurt myself. I called the GI dr, and he said I should have gone to the ER, it sounded like a partial obstruction the pressure was intense, no gas would move, and the left side was as hard as a rock, he said that is the desending colon, sigmoid, where the stool moves out of the body, I do not want to go through that again, too painful!
I had to take senekot sunday night to get some relief, but it cramps me so bad, I am probably already dependent on them by now , I sure hope not!
