Shery, I am also sorry for all you are going through. Hugs and prayers and hope the surgery works. Trust me I know what you mean, I left the doctors office the other day and was happy that he wanted to do surgery, and Like you not happy Yippee having surgery, but happy that something was going to be done to bring me some relief.. But then went and visited the surgeon. Spoke with many family members and they would like me to get a second opinion. I think its absolutely nuts to make someone wait until a life threatening problem occurs before they go in. I get partial blockages all the time, and have to try and deal with them breaking up on their own, which is extremely painful, or wait for full blockage for them to do surgery. I need to GI doctor anyways and I know before he thought that I had the endo up in the upper gastro tract as well, and thought it maybe a good idea for them to take a peak and see whats up in there. So when I visit him for some of these and other problems i am going to have him put in his 2 cents in writing about another surgery. I know GYN just wants someone to agree with him, even though I know he knows deep down it is right.. Thanks again for your support. Hugs and prayers Kimmi
