Hello Mary Wade.. I had my adhesiolysis with Dr. Reich April 22, 1999..and I am doing wonderful. ( I reffer to myself as video #2 as three of us from my hometonw all wne tofr surgeies and have shared our videos with many to study!! )I have had a 95% decrease in pain, normal bowel movements, can sit, stand, touch my toes, get in and out of bed, turn side to side..I can put pressure on my lower right quadrant..and not have pain..even my GERD has subsided.! NO medication at all! I have NOT taken a pain medication since four weeks post op! I went off the Prilosec two months ago...

I see two of Dr. Reichs past adhesion patients on a daily basis...both doing great! In fact, my surgery was only 4.5 hours compaired to Deb's 10 hour surgery ( video #3 )..and she is pain free..yes, totaly! Deb ( video #1 ) has no symptoms at all...it may take a bit to heal following an adhesiolysis, and you may come up with symptoms, including pain, that you were not even aware of as one tends to suffer so greatly with adhesions, that other medical conditions can be masked by the adhesion pain and only discovered after an adhesiolysis is performed....

I am a testiment to the skill and high quality of adhesiolysis that Dr. Reich does. It is imparative that you educate yourself to as much as you can regarding adhesion disease and then study the procedure of the surgeron your thinking of having a surgery with, look for the reasons that HIS surgery will offer you something the others did not offer you, as your looking for the best chance in RECOVERING from adhesion disease when seeking another surgery ...so know everything you can about the disease and the procedure...I always say:

Be your own best Dr..be informed!!

In friendship Bev
