I had a vaginal hysterectomy. One month later I developed a pelvic
abscess, which landed me in the hospital. I had 3 surgeries at that
time (every 2 days), the first was to place a vaginal drain (which
subsequently ended up near my stomach!), the second was a laparotomy,
with removal of my left ovary and tube (due to adhesions), a
preventative appendectomy (due to the inflammatory process within my
pelvis), and a JP drain placement. The final surgery was to remove the
displaced vaginal drain, and irrigate my pelvis due to a seroma. My
question is (sorry this is so long!) is it's been 2 months now, and I
have right pelvic discomfort/pain, and the same near my stomach area. I
also have a hard bulge when standing in my pelvis that seems to subside
somewhat upon standing, some pelvic discomfort when having a BM, and I
was wondering if this would indicate adhesion formation? Thank you for
any thoughts you all might have.
