Kathie,

How wrong your doctor is! Adhesions form with laparascoppy.....probably just as easily as with laparotomies....the only difference being that due to the fact that a laparascopy would be less invasive. Please research this information....or perhaps Helen or someone else on here can email you the facts to support it so that you can go into your doctor's office armed and ready. You really need to find a surgeon that uses the appropriate technique to lyse your adhesions....so that they do not reform. If you are interested in finding out more information let us know.

I apologize for my rambling....my pain meds were increased the other day. I was moved from a duragesic 75 patch to using duragesic 125....plus 2 vicodin es every 4 hours. It is after 11 pm and they are really beginning to hit me....I'm falling asleep at the computer.
