I have been curious about something for a while now...Maybe someone can help and/or add comments. Check out the sites, look for more information.

I have heard a lot about the use of "GLUE" to close wounds (medical "super glue"). We all know that the use of staples and stitches promote more trauma, thus creating more adhesion growth. (Remember, I am not a medical person, just an ordinary Jane) Why couldn't this glue, be used to smooth rough edges, prevent bleeding during the procedures (which reduces the use of cautary knives and the such, thus eliminating trauma, pooling blood, and/or leakage of blood), as well as use during the closure procedure? This glue, along with the barriers, and gentle surgical techniques, as well as whatever else is available, may prove to be a positive in combating adhesions.

I have included some sites for information. There are many, many sites on this topic and its uses.
