This sounds like a much easier way to "boost your healing power" before surgery than the suggestions, which were given in the articles in my previous post, "Surgical Support."



Two weeks prior to surgery, start the intake of the following:

a.) Vitamin C. 500 mg - 3 times per day.

b.) Multiple Vitamins with Iron - 2 times per day.

c.) Zinc

d.) Vitamin B6, which is a natural diuretic. Take it to reduce swelling.

e.) Vitamin K: Synkavite, Mephyton - as prescribed by your surgeon.

f.) If your dietary habits are unusual or if you are a vegetarian, notify the medical staff so a special diet arrangement can be made.

g.) Low protein intake delays wound healing

It may be necessary to increase your protein intake by adding one scoop of protein supplement and one scoop of aloe gel to 10 ounces of skim milk. Take this drink at 8:00 am and 8:00 pm for:

1.) before four weeks (or as soon as possible ) prior to surgery

2.) two weeks after the surgery.
