I was practically disowned by my family because no-one understood the pain I was in. They all have back problems and nothing I had could possible equal their pain. I was accused of being a drug addict and I have an uncle who still doesn't believe me. I was accused of being lazy "What do you mean you can't get out of bed" "I've gone to work in terrible pain, why can't you"
I could go on and on. Thankfully, my family (most of them) finally understand.
I found a pain clinic and medication that actually helps.
I started a job in March 2000 after being out of work for 4 years.
Life looks up!
And now this...There's actually a place where I can go and talk to people that are going through the same thing as me!
