I had that procedure done last spring and it did not work for me either. It
was pretty painful. They didn't give me any sedative, just a local then they
started the block. The pain was back even before I left the hospital. I told
the dr I didn't want to have that one done again. I guess thats why he
suggested the epidural. I had an epidurual when I had my daughter. It was a
C-section. I was pretty comfortable during & after. I guess when I go back I
will talk to him again about it. thanks for all of everyones replys.
