RE: mineral vs flaxseed oilLaura: I swear I already answered this, but cannot find it, so... tastes very mild and pleasant, can be mixed with anything, and you can drink anything after. I take mine with cherry-flavored liquid acidophilus. Europeans swear by it. When I just was looking for my sent mail, etc, it looks like we are having a bowel forum! As I have been saying since my surgery, i really would rather stop thinking about poop. Karen

Karen, how does Flaxseed oil taste? Can you put it in something or do you have to take it straight? Can you drink something afterward?

I recommend flaxseed oil instead of mineral oil. Flaxseed oil (health food store) really helps promote natural peristalsis of bowel & has nutritional benefits while I think mineral oil can actually interfere with absorption of some nutrients. Karen
