Karla,

No need to apologize, it wasn't very clear was it. Basically, using oxycodone as the standard comparing its strength to morphine and the other opiates. So I'm going to use a different chart - eaiser to understand (I hope)

Using Morophine as the standard. The following drugs and their dosages injection are equal to getting the same amount of pain relief as 10 mgs of Morophine injection:

1.5 mg hydromorphone (Dilaudid) = 10 mg morophine 10 mg methadone (Dolophine) = " 15 mg oxycodone (percocet, tylox) = " 2 mg levorphanol (Levo-Dromoran) = " 1 mg oxymorphone (Numorphan) = " 5 mg Heroin = " 75 mg meperdine (demerol) = " 130 mg codeine = " 25 ug/hr Fentanyl = "

Is this clearer? Please let me know!

Tina
