Ginni, My reason for not sending a reply was entirely different from what you thought. As much as I would like to be in continuing touch with people who write to me, I have received so many letters regarding adhesions that I have found it difficult to even try to respond to every letter I receive. So I let the content of the letter determine if a response is needed. It is not that I don't like to hear from people who have previously written to me - because I do.

It is very interesting to hear that you actually wrote and also received a reply to your letter. Regarding animal studies, I do remember reading that animal studies are not always a good predictor as to how humans will respond to a certain product. Apparently animal studies are a required part of any product which is being researched. Whenever I read an article that mentions certain animals as being used as part of the research, I stop reading the article and move on to something else.

I think that it would be alright to include that website here. It does say that other research is being done. Perhaps this research may be the answer. Who knows?

As it stands now this research maybe has just as much of a chance as Lifecore Biomedical's Intergel. For awhile we were told that it would be 6-8 months before Intergel would be available. Since Lifecore Biomedical did not receive premarket approval for Integel, how long will it take now? I don't think there is an answer to that question.
